Crafted entirely from two-tone steel and gold, this watch is an excellent choice for those who appreciate luxury without being overly ostentatious. The gold screw-down crown is adorned with Tudor's classic embossed rose logo, making it highly recognizable.
The two-tone rotating bezel is a major highlight of this watch. The anodized aluminum bezel features gold-filled numerals, with a brown background for the half-circle representing the daytime hours and a black background for the half-circle representing the nighttime hours.
This black and brown color scheme is so similar to the color scheme of root beer that it's affectionately known as the "root beer circle," which is quite amusing.
With a dial diameter of 41 mm, the wearer can use this watch to know the time in three different locations. The departure time is indicated by a thinner hand that completes one revolution of the dial every 24 hours.
The shorter "snowflake" hand is used to indicate the local time and has independent time adjustment functions; while the third time zone time is indicated by a bidirectional rotating outer ring with 24-hour scale and a "24-hour" hand, making it clear and easy to read.
Equipped with a gold steel strap, it is inspired by the folding rivet strap made in the 1950s and 1960s. The links on both sides are connected by rivet heads, presenting a unique stepped structure, which is ingenious.
