Description
/C factory releases Yacht-Master 40mm collection 126622. PS/126655 rose gold version soon.
1. Left/Right side GEN = Genuine product clean = Clean factory product
2. The gray side on the left appears to have a significant color difference due to the softbox lighting, but under natural light, the similarity is very high.
Over 95%, and natural light comparisons will be shown later.
3. On the right side, the blue dial of the C Factory version is slightly lighter in blue than the genuine product. Of course, a characteristic of sunburst dials is that they display different colors under different lighting conditions. To be precise, as long as the RGB color values are on a similar baseline, there won't be a significant deviation overall. This is because C Factory has a long history of producing sunburst dials, such as the Submariner, various Datejust, and this Yacht-Master.
For items featuring colored radial patterns, the same PVD electroplating process as the genuine product is used. This ensures that the color of the shipped product will not vary between batches. Additionally, the plating layer is thin, allowing the sunburst pattern on the bottom surface to be clearly seen.
However, the cost is high.
4. This bezel edge uses electroplated PVD white gold with an anti-fingerprint coating. The bezel edge material has also been changed from ordinary brass to stainless steel. This means that even if the bezel edge is bumped or the electroplating layer is damaged, revealing the base color, it will still look the same as white gold. However, stainless steel is harder than ordinary copper. This demonstrates a significant investment in processing and cost control.
