226570 Explorer 2
Dandong 3285 movement
This time, Clean launched the 226570 in black and white.
The biggest highlight is the 3285 movement, which is the same movement as the 126710, but the 3285 movement size of the 226570 is a larger size.
The calendar position is also different from 126710.
Therefore, the calendar positions on the 226570 models on the market are all wrong, because Explorer 2 is a relatively niche product, and Movement Factory is very unwilling to develop this size separately.
It took more than a year to convince the Dandong movement factory to develop Clean independently.
Bezel Edge font differences
The difference between 226570 and 216570 is quite significant.

Due to its age, the genuine black-faced Bezel Edge still uses the older, thinner font.
The white face was purchased in 2023, and the font is bold.

The Explorer 2 is a rare gem, a truly unique piece within the entire Rolex collection. Until the Clean version was released, I hadn't found a truly perfect one. Hopefully, the Clean version will bring us even more and better products in the future.
