New Arrival! Carbon Fiber Tourbillon Watch! Top-Tier Item! Richard Mille! RM 27-02 〖RICHARD MILLE〗 This sporty Tourbillon watch was designed specifically for tennis player Rafael Nadal. It features an ultra-lightweight case and exceptional stability to withstand the immense acceleration of a ball impact. South African athlete Wayde van Niekerk wore this watch to the finish line and win the gold medal in the men's 400-meter sprint final at the Rio Olympics.
Inspired by racing car chassis, Richard Mille integrated the movement of the skeleton mainplate and case into a single design, significantly improving shock resistance. To make the watch even lighter, Richard Mille collaborated with North Thin Ply Technology to develop a tough and durable ultralight material called quartz fiber for the case. The entire watch weighs as little as a sheet of paper and features a rugged texture reminiscent of Damascus steel.
The crystal clearly shows the structure of the entire movement: a floating tourbillon at 6 o'clock and Richard Mille's exclusive fast-spinning barrel at 12 o'clock, which can provide up to 52 hours of power storage and improve kinetic efficiency by 20% at the very beginning of winding.
The white bezel is secured to the case with 12 Grade 5 titanium screws, and is paired with orange straps and red crowns. To improve readability, the tips of the hour and minute hands are also highlighted with bright orange-yellow.
