The movement inside This reference is built with either calibre. The choice changes the price, the rate and the reserve — nothing else about the watch.
| Base | Seiko NH35 or Miyota 8215, automatic | Swiss clone of the maison's own calibre |

| Rate | ±15 to 25 seconds a day | ±5 to 10 seconds a day |
| Reserve | About 40 hours | 55 to 70 hours |
| Balance | 21,600 A/h · six beats a second | 28,800 A/h · eight beats a second |

| Suited to | Wearing daily, keeping simply, spending less | Matching the reference exactly, and glass casebacks |
The Swiss movement is $50 more. That figure buys the rate, the reserve and a movement that reads correctly through a glass back — not a different watch.
Which we would take. If it is to be worn every day and serviced down the road from you, the Japanese is the honest answer. If it has to survive a loupe against the reference — or the caseback is glass and the movement is meant to be seen — take the Swiss.
The exact base calibre for this reference is confirmed in writing, with the QC film, before anything is dispatched. The two movements, explained

Description
is here, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, creating a new classic.
Patek Philippe's 5327/5140 collection of super-complication functions timepieces.
The case has a diameter of 40mm, and the dial layout is elegant and tasteful. Although there are many functions, they do not feel complicated. The sunburst pattern, combined with the gold three-dimensional Breguet numerals and willow leaf-shaped hands, makes it even more eye-catching and elegant.
The 5327-5140 features Cal.240 Q automatic winding movement, and all functions are genuine, not just illustrative, and can be adjusted via shortcut buttons.
1: The dial at the 3 o'clock position displays the month and perpetual calendar. (The month shortcut button is located to the right of the 12 o'clock case, and the perpetual calendar shortcut button is located at the 6 o'clock case.)
2: The dial at the 6 o'clock position displays the date and true moon phase (the date/moon phase shortcut button is located at the 9 o'clock case).
3: The dial at the 9 o'clock position displays the day of the week and the 24-hour period (the week shortcut button is located to the left of the case at the 12 o'clock position).
The overall layout of the dial is spacious yet not cramped, exuding a gentle and elegant feel. It is paired with an Italian calf leather strap and a PP logo skeleton lantern clasp, giving it a retro and refined look.
These 5327 and 5140 models are dress watches, with various dial colors to choose from. They pair well with black, white, and gray formal wear, and can also be worn casually or everyday.
A classic work of art, a perfect collectible.
