The movement inside This reference is built with either calibre. The choice changes the price, the rate and the reserve — nothing else about the watch.

The Swiss movement is $50 more. That figure buys the rate, the reserve and a movement that reads correctly through a glass back — not a different watch.
Which we would take. If it is to be worn every day and serviced down the road from you, the Japanese is the honest answer. If it has to survive a loupe against the reference — or the caseback is glass and the movement is meant to be seen — take the Swiss.

Description
Omega Seamaster 300m diving collection, brand new Swiss ETA-2824 fully automatic mechanical movement, 21 blocks, 3.6mm thickness, 25.6mm diameter, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 42-hour energy reserve, high-frequency fast swing, screw fine adjustment, Japanese-made corrugated surface finish, Incabloc shock absorbers, widely used in Switzerland.
The case is made of 904 stainless steel, CNC high-gloss molded. The ceramic bezel is made with Korean powder fired at 8000 degrees Celsius. The ceramic scale uses German liquid metal incorporated into the ceramic bezel. It's a one-piece molding. The dial face is also made with Korean powder fired at high temperature, just like the genuine product, smooth and glossy with no dead angles. The 12 o'clock markers are all hand-polished to a high gloss, then filled with original Swiss SL.BGW9 luminous powder, resulting in a brightness comparable to the genuine product. The steel bracelet is 904 stainless steel imported from Germany. Each bead is individually hand-polished and brushed. The entire clasp is CNC high-speed washed. The logo is neat, clear, and three-dimensional. The inner case is the same as the genuine product, achieving true three-proof protection. Details make it perfect. It's water-resistant, shockproof, and antimagnetic. It protects against swimming, playing ball, and playing mahjong. The case back, which we spent nearly a year perfecting, features small grid patterns, three-dimensional lettering, and a high-gloss finish on the dial. It was pressed five times under high pressure using a 900-ton hydraulic press. Then it undergoes a high-gloss finish cleaning process in Germany, achieving the same effect as the genuine product. It features a unique Seamaster logo, one of a kind in the market. The hands are crafted using Swiss technology, with a high-gloss P-finish R-finish edge. Finally, it is filled with Swiss SL.BGW9 luminous powder. It is a one-piece molding process, interchangeable with genuine products.
