The movement inside This reference is built with either calibre. The choice changes the price, the rate and the reserve — nothing else about the watch.
| Base | Seiko NH35 or Miyota 8215, automatic | Swiss clone of the maison's own calibre |
|---|---|---|
| Rate | ±15 to 25 seconds a day | ±5 to 10 seconds a day |
| Reserve | About 40 hours | 55 to 70 hours |
| Balance | 21,600 A/h · six beats a second | 28,800 A/h · eight beats a second |
| Servicing | Any watchmaker can service it; parts are everywhere | Serviced by a specialist; finished as the original is |
| Suited to | Wearing daily, keeping simply, spending less | Matching the reference exactly, and glass casebacks |
The Swiss movement is $50 more. That figure buys the rate, the reserve and a movement that reads correctly through a glass back — not a different watch.
Which we would take. If it is to be worn every day and serviced down the road from you, the Japanese is the honest answer. If it has to survive a loupe against the reference — or the caseback is glass and the movement is meant to be seen — take the Swiss.
The exact base calibre for this reference is confirmed in writing, with the QC film, before anything is dispatched. The two movements, explained

Description
latest masterpiece, VS Omega Omega: Azure Ocean Celamic! A long-awaited work makes a powerful comeback!
1⃣️VS After a year of research and development, we have achieved an exclusive breakthrough in one-piece blue ceramic. It was really difficult, as single-color ceramics are dominated by white, black, and gray.
2⃣️ Blue ceramic watches are extremely rare. VS uses ceramic raw materials (zirconia) with added pigments, injects zirconia into the mold under 1000 bar pressure, and then sintersects it in a 20,000-degree Celsius furnace for 3 hours using plasma. Once sintered, it cannot be processed later. It is formed in one step. If the color changes, the color is uneven, there are sand holes, white spots, or it is scrapped! It is irreversible! The defect rate is too high! This makes mass production impossible.
3⃣️VS After a year of repeated testing and comparison, the deep blue version is now on the market with a 90% similarity to the genuine product!
4⃣️ The case body, crown, dial, clasp, case back, and bezel edge are all made of blue ceramic. Each component is individually sintered and polished. VS carefully selects only 30% of its products to ensure quality!
VS masterpiece of craftsmanship worth owning!

One of our own frames rather than a catalogue picture — included because it shows what a white background hides.
