🔥New Watch: Franck Muller Launches Grand Central Tourbillon Watch
Franck Muller has launched a new tourbillon watch – the "Grand Central Tourbillon". What makes it special is its unique "central tourbillon" structure, which makes the slowly rotating tourbillon the visual focus on the dial.
The Cintrée Curvex tonneau case has been redesigned with slender, flowing lines. The crystal extends to the lugs at both ends, making the dial more spacious and open. The case is crafted from carbon fiber with a delicate texture. The black and gray stripes of the carbon fiber create a subtle texture that is both charming and elegant, as well as abstract and casual.
The lacquered dial features striking, oversized Arabic numeral hour markers, with embossed guilloché patterns radiating outwards to form a spiral design, echoing the rotation of the tourbillon. Since the tourbillon occupies the center of the dial, the hand gear system has been modified accordingly, with the hands mounted on the edge of the tourbillon, appearing to float above the dial.
Equipped with a self-made FM CX 40T-CTR automatic winding movement, with a beat rate of 28,800 vph, it boasts strong power and a long power reserve.
Featuring a fluororubber sewn nylon strap, this new version boasts a brushed finish and folded clasp.
