Description
Cartier is the dream itself. Among Cartier's 2022 high jewelry watches, the most eye-catching design is undoubtedly the newest case design: the Coussin de Cartier (cushion shape). While the cushion shape is typically square with rounded corners in high jewelry watches, Cartier cleverly crafted the four corners into swirling lines, inlaid with gemstones. A closer look reveals that the swirling shape not only deceives established geometry, but also, combined with the swirling lines on the case, evokes a dreamlike, multi-dimensional world, as if the entire world has been turned upside down. A bit dizzying: the square is no longer square, yet it contains a mesmerizing circle within the square. The Coussin de Cartier cushion-shaped watch also features various sizes and inlay styles. The cushion-shaped case combined with the swirling lines on the case creates a whirlwind-like new case shape, a creative geometry and imaginative design, making it another beautiful masterpiece from Cartier in terms of design.
