Blancpain Fifty Fathoms collection limited edition watch 5008
The Fifty Fathoms collection watch quickly distinguished itself with its practical functions designed specifically for divers. Its well-known features include large luminous hour markers and hands that contrast sharply with the black dial and unidirectional rotating bezel. The steel case with a soft iron inner layer protects the movement from magnetic fields.
The watch features a unidirectional rotating case bezel with an inverted ratchet mechanism and a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal. To further enhance visibility in various environments, the markers, hour markers, and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®.
The date was positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock, while other highly distinctive DNA elements were preserved.
The dial features the collection's signature white and orange hygrometer above the 6 o'clock position. This design is often referred to by watch enthusiasts as the "little sun." If moisture seeps into the watch, the small disc at the 6 o'clock position on the dial will change from white to red, serving as a warning.
The watch comes equipped with NATO military straps, ensuring its performance as diving equipment while providing a comfortable and lightweight wearing experience.
